It is wonderful to hear how past students are going. Mackenzie Gibbs who left at the end of 2024 has progressed really well with her swimming endeavours, consistently beating her own best times. Mackenzie competed in the Australian 2026 Multiclass Age Championship in Queensland. She qualified and swam in 6 events and received 3 first place medals, 1 second place medal, 1 third place medal and a fourth place.
Mackenzie loved her time at Cowwarr Primary and continues to visit and join us at events. I am sure that we are all together in wishing Mackenzie all the very best for her future endeavours and giving her that good old Cowwarr TEAM cheer.
If you look at our logo on our school shirts it says, ‘We strive to do our best’, it doesn’t say I strive to do better than Mat or Phil or Marybeth. You are important to you! What you do and say shapes the person you are.
Please think about this and stop and pause where necessary, for you to make an appropriate choice. That will make you a person that people want to be around and call a friend.
