From the Principal
I hope all our mum's and special people in our lives had an enjoyable Mother's Day. We will hold a Special Person's Breakfast later in the year to celebrate all the special people in our students lives.
A huge thankyou to our P&F for running our Mother's Day stall, and to the many people who donated items for sale. Your support is greatly appreciated.
With the cooler mornings, and sometimes days, now upon us, this is just a reminder around the importance of wearing or having a jumper at school. We have over 15 unnamed jumpers in lost property (some are very new), so if you are missing one at home, please come to the office to check them.
I would like to formally congratulate Mrs Dallas on graduating from Charles Sturt University with a Masters of Speech Pathology. This is a passion area for Mrs Dallas and we are very proud of her ability to work as a teacher and complete this Masters Degree. Congratulations.
Walk Safely to School Day – Friday 22 May 2026
On Friday 22 May, our school will be participating in National Walk Safely to School Day.
This day promotes the importance of regular physical activity, road safety and healthy habits for children and families. Walking, riding or scootering to school is a great way for students to stay active, build independence and start the day positively — because active kids are healthy kids!
We encourage all students and families who are able to safely walk, ride or scooter to school on the day to join in and support this important initiative.
Education Week 2026 – Showcase Your School
Education Week will be celebrated from Monday 18 May to Friday 22 May, with this year’s theme being “Showcase Your School.”
To celebrate, families are warmly invited to visit classrooms on Friday 22 May from 9:00am–10:00am to take part in a range of fun and engaging activities across the school.
Throughout the morning, classrooms will be open for families to join students in creative activities and other fun experiences that celebrate the positive learning and community spirit within our school. Families are welcome to move between classrooms and activities throughout the session and enjoy the range of activities happening across the school.
We look forward to welcoming families into our classrooms and celebrating Education Week together!
