Attendance Matters

Dear Parents/Carers and Students,

📅 Semester 2 Commenced – Tuesday, 9th June 2026

As we transition into the second half of the academic year, we’d like to remind everyone of the vital role regular attendance plays in student achievement. Maintaining a minimum attendance rate of 95% should remain a shared goal between home and school to ensure every student can thrive.

📚 New Subjects & Resources

Students may have started new subjects this semester. Please ensure they are fully equipped with the necessary materials for both continuing and new classes. Being prepared sets a strong foundation for success. A few practical reminders to support daily organisation:

  • Students should collect all required books and materials in the morning for the classes they will have before recess.
  • Returning to lockers between classes is not permitted, as this causes disruptions, delays and missed learning time.
  • To help stay organised, students are encouraged to record what they need for each subject next to it on their timetable and place it on the inside of their locker door for quick reference.

🚗 Arriving to school on time

With colder and more unpredictable weather approaching, traffic along Warrandyte Road may become increasingly congested in the mornings. If you are driving your child to school, we recommend allowing an extra 5–10 minutes for travel to help ensure a calm and punctual start to the day.

Thank you for your continued support. Together, we can ensure every student is present, prepared, and engaged for a successful Semester 2.
