Our College Captains, Lily and Val, thanked Mr Bartlett for his exceptional leadership, his kind heart, and encouraged Year 12 students to reflect on their legacies (inspired by Mr Bartlett!) and support each other in their final term at BSC. They also took a moment to warmly welcome our new Principal, Mr Bourbon, as he rejoins our community.
We concluded the assembly with inspiring words from our new Principal, Mr Bourbon, who highlighted NAIDOC Week and the relevance of this year’s theme, "The Next Generation: Strength, Vision & Legacy," to our community at BSC.

Traditionally worn for warmth and used to record stories and family histories through etched designs, the cloak represents community and heritage. During our activity, we drew parallels with our French exchange students’ own cultural traditions, exploring how objects and symbols can carry history, strengthen identity, and connect generations across time and place.
