'The Arts' Update

The School Production of "Puffs" is almost here! It has been so much fun rehearsing this play during my final year of school, and it's a great way to take my mind off all the stress of Year 12. It has been great getting to know the younger years, and I am looking forward to coming back every year to watch the productions. Tickets are on sale now as the show is fast approaching (21st-23rd of August).

On the first day of term, we had two assembly performances by students: the Year 12 band "The Blumps" and the Guitar Ensemble, which played "Africa" by Toto.

Next week, VCE Unit 3/4 Theatre Studies students will watch the performance of "Kimberly Akimbo" - a Tony Award-winning musical - in connection with Outcome 3, Unit 4 for Theatre Studies: "Analysing and evaluating a performance." This play has been selected from a prescribed list published by VCAA.

A big congratulations to all the students who entered the art competition! The creativity and effort shown across both categories was seriously impressive, and it was great to see so many students getting involved.
