Year Level Captain's Report

Hello everyone, my name is Chris Baker and I am the Year 8 Captain.

On Tuesday we commemorated the 107th Remembrance Day. Remembrance Day is commemorated to remember the fallen Australians in World War One. It was held at the Beaumaris RSL. People shared some speeches and we reflected on the losses of World War One. Imogen from Year 11 presented a speech that was truly excellent.

On Monday 10/11 during a House Assembly in GOAL the CORE Merit Awards were given out. These awards show the dedication and perseverance of students at Beaumaris. Congratulations to everyone who was recognised for their hard work and achievements; however if you did not receive an award your efforts have not been cast aside and we value all the effort Beaumaris students put into their work.

On Friday 14/11 Shoreline Volume 2 is being launched. This is a compilation of students’ work in Communicate and Relate from all year levels. These works have really stood out and represent the ability Beaumaris students possess.

As we approach the end of term we wish all students luck on their PBLs and exams for those who are taking them. Good luck.
