If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?

The first thing that came to mind was butter chicken from Saffron in Mordialloc.

If you could visit anywhere in the world you’ve never been, where would you go?

I’ve travelled a lot, so it’s hard to think of somewhere I’ve never been. Maybe Alaska, because I want to see the northern lights, and all the marine life, moose and bears.

What has been a highlight of your time at BSC?

Supporting students in non-classical pathways that enable them to move into careers best suited to them.

What is your favourite animal and why?

My dog, Ned, who is a Jack Russell cross that we rescued. He’s got a super personality and he’s really cute and loving.

What is your ideal way to unwind and relax?

I do hot Pilates — it’s hard work, and for 45 minutes I’m sweating like crazy. It’s super tough, but that’s my mindfulness because I don’t think of anything else while I’m doing it.

What skill would you like to master?

Sign language. I’ve always had an interest in learning it, but I’ve never had time to invest in it.

What would you sing at karaoke night?

I’d say Bohemian Rhapsody, because it’s just an awesome song. I’m not a very good singer at all, but I think I could shout that one without hurting people’s ears!

When you were little, what did you aspire to be?

A nurse, because most of the women in my extended family were nurses, so I was influenced by the people I knew.

Who would you like to swap places with for the day?

The first person that came to mind was Mr Bourbon — just to see what it’s like to be the principal (or top dog!) for a day.

Who would you want to play you in a movie of your life?

Jennifer Aniston. I’ve seen some of her work and she’s such a good actor.

Why did you choose to go into teaching?

I studied Psychology and Sport Science and found that I wasn’t too bad at teaching others. I love working with people, and I still see teaching as a helping profession — which I like.

Thanks, Ms Farrow!
