Senior Business

Mrs Peta Dempster

On Friday, the Senior Business class along with some extremely innovative Year 10 Business students attended Aussie World to learn all about repositioning strategies and the plans to amplify the tired theme park out of its current steady state and into a state of renewal.

Our day commenced with a fascinating presentation from Carlos, telling us all about Aussie World’s strategic repositioning plans, including a multi-million-dollar Water Park and an Indigenous Centre to allow visitors to learn all about our first nations people and pass on their history and culture.

We then headed off to explore the park, and anyone who hasn’t visited Aussie World since back in the early 2000’s…. It is absolutely guaranteed to impress. The students went on multiple rides… multiple times and even ventured into the Illuminarium, practiced their driving skills on the bumper cars and were delivered quite a fright in The Haunted House.

The day would not have been complete without an Aussie meal at The Banana Bender Hotel. The students had an amazing experience… as too did the Teachers. Aussie World appears to be making a comeback!
