Chess

Last Wednesday, our chess team travelled to Tumut to play schools from around our region. We sent two teams, made up of dedicated players who had given up their play times to practise for the competition. 

Their hard work paid off, with one of our teams finishing second, while the other finished fourth. 

Well done to our runner-up team, comprised of Ash, Kasey, Fred and Molly N. Ash was our most successful player, winning 5 of 7 games and drawing another. 

Hopefully, next year we can go one better. Don't stop practising just because the competition is over!!
