COOPER McDOWELL
Cooper McDowell (Year 9) was selected to represent Greenvale Cricket club in its WJ Dowling Development Squad for the 2025/26 season. Selection in this squad has required much travel to Melbourne and has provided Cooper with the opportunity to be involved in a training program with the ultimate goal of competing in the WJ Dowling competition run by Cricket Victoria in January 2026.
The WJ Dowling competition is Victoria's Premier Cricket underage boys competition. From the players who participate in the development sessions, the Greenvale Kangaroos will assemble a squad of just 14 boys to represent the club in the WJ Dowling competition.

SADIE GORDON
Sadie Gordon (Year 10) produced four solid heats and raced in the finals at the Junior & Senior Ladies AIDKA Trophy Meet held at the Millewa Quarries Motor Sport Park on 23 August.
When the dust settled, her impressive skills placed her in the top spot of the Ladies Feature. –Wow! Awesome racing, Sadie 🙌🏼 🙌🏾
