Principals Message

Each day I take a moment to pause and remember that we are all part of something greater than ourselves. As educators, families, and community members, we are helping to shape the future, and with the wonderful young people of St Mary’s Rushworth, I truly believe that future is bright. A future grounded in wisdom, understanding, open hearts, and open minds. 

This was beautifully reflected this week as we welcomed Under the Creative Hood to St Mary’s. Catherine and Jaquie spent time with our students engaging in performing arts experiences that sparked creativity, connection, and storytelling. It was wonderful to see students and artists begin building their shared story together through imagination, collaboration, and expression. 

The excitement and energy throughout the week highlighted what a special opportunity this is for our school community. We are incredibly grateful to be part of such a meaningful project and look forward to seeing where this creative journey leads.
