Teaching and Learning

It has been wonderful to see how calmly and positively our students have returned to SEPS following the holidays. Our learning spaces have felt settled, orderly and focused, creating an environment where our students can reconnect with being back at school, feel safe and engage fully in their learning.

This reflects the work we have been doing across the school to ensure all students are ready to learn. Our consistent routines and engagement norms have definitely helped our students understand what active participation looks and sounds like, as well as creating safe, predictabe environments. 

We are very proud of the way our students have embraced these routines and contributed to such a positive start to the term. We look forward to many great learning experiences this term. These include: The AMC Competition, online author workshops, VHAP program, Write A Book In A Day competition, L4 camp, various incursions and excursions, Book Week and many more.
