Hoop Time Basketball - Year 4s

On Tuesday, 3 September, 40 of our Year 4 students took part in Hoop time at the Keilor Basketball Centre. We had four teams, each coached by a Year 9 student who did an outstanding job leading and supporting their players throughout the day.

Year 4s had a fantastic time competing against other schools, showing great teamwork, determination, and enthusiasm. It was wonderful to see their basketball skills develop and their confidence grow as the day went on.

A special thank you goes to our five Year 9 coaches for their effort and encouragement.

Prime Minister's Spelling Bee

Spelling Success!

This year, we had an outstanding response to the Prime Minister’s Spelling Bee, with 375 students from Years 3–8 across both Tarneit and Mambourin campuses registering for the School Round. From there, 7 students progressed to the State Finals – a fantastic achievement in itself.

We are pleased to announce that Aisha (Year 5, Mambourin), will go on to represent our school in the National Finals. With more than 82,000 students entering the School Round and 4,600 competing at the State and Territory level, reaching the top tier of this national competition is an incredible accomplishment.

Whatever the outcome, we warmly congratulate Aisha on this remarkable achievement and celebrate the dedication and talent shown by all our spellers this year.

TTRPG Club Milestone

Congratulations to our adventurers in the TTRPG Club, who recently completed an exciting challenge together! Through courage and determination, the group worked as a team to overcome obstacles and protect their community within the game world. Their creativity, problem-solving skills, and perseverance shone through, allowing them to bring resolution to the story. This milestone is a wonderful example of how imagination and collaboration can help students grow in confidence and leadership. We are proud of their progress and look forward to seeing how they continue to develop their campaign, which has been running for almost two years!
