Year 11 students are getting ready for their final Preliminary exams. They have been working hard in class and some students have completed some of their Assessments already. The hospitality students have been preparing delicious meals for the food trucks, which have proven popular with the college community during recess. Mrs Cartwright's Exploring Early Childhood class also completed their final assessment where they created a children's party. The students went above and beyond cooking party snacks and setting up their themed parties. Well done to all our students on their assessments so far.
Year 11 exams start on Friday of week 8. Any student who is feeling overwhelmed or anxious should let me or another teacher know as we are here to support them in any way. We also have our amazing school counsellor Olivia Dawson if any student is seeking help during the time of their exams. It is expected all students arrive on time and are in full college uniform.
Looking ahead next term, students will receive their Year 12 Jersey. This is to be worn only on Thursdays. Week 6 is our Retreat and all students are expected to attend.
I wish Year 11 all the very best for their Preliminary Exams and wish you all a restful and safe break.
