We ask you to intercede for all educators. Bless them with your strength and courage to guide their students with wisdom, patience, and compassion. Help them to be models of faith and to inspire a love of learning in every child.

St Mary of the Cross

On Friday, we celebrated the feast day of Australia's first saint, St. Mary of the Cross MacKillop. The day was a wonderful opportunity to reflect on her life and legacy of faith, courage, and dedication to education.

As a special part of our celebrations, students from Stage 2 attended midday mass to honour St. Mary MacKillop. It was a beautiful service that allowed our students to connect with her story and a deeper understanding of the values she held dear. Her commitment to helping those in need and her pioneering spirit continue to inspire our school community. 

Stage 3 Family Mass

Yesterday, our Stage 3 students led our school's Family Mass. We thank the families who attended and celebrated with our St Patrick's parish community. It was wonderful to see our senior students demonstrate their faith and leadership within our school and parish.

Confirmation

On Saturday, 23rd of August, we celebrate with Jorja Gardner, Ava Howell and Cameron Faint as they receive the Sacrament of Confirmation at St Nicholas Church. Please keep them in your prayers as they take this important step in their faith journey.

Vocation Awareness Week

National Vocations Awareness Week in the Catholic Church was celebrated from August 3rd to August 10th. This week is dedicated to promoting vocations to the priesthood and consecrated life, and encouraging prayer and support for those discerning these paths. We thank Fr Sabu, Fr Ross and Sister Kathryn for their support and faith guidance to our parish and school community.

Gracious and loving God, help the men and women of our parish to hear the call to serve in the Diocese of Armidale. Our needs are great and our people thirst for your presence. Open the hearts of many, raise up faithful servants of the Gospel, dedicated, holy priests, sisters, brothers and deacons, who will spend themselves for your people and their needs. Bless those who are serving now with courage and perseverance. Grant that many will be inspired by their example and faith. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Parish Mass Times

Please join our Parish to celebrate the Eucharist. Our Parish offers three Mass times every weekend. 

Saturday - 5:30pm

Sunday - 9:00am and 5:00pm
