P&F News

Hello parents and friends of St Joseph's,

It has been nice to be back in action this term with the P&F kicking off with the athletics carnival barbecue. The cold weather had us making many hot chocolates as well as lots of sausage sandwiches, with a profit of $235 being made on the day! Thankyou to Year Two mums, Jacqui and Stacey, who donated their time to help on the day.

We are looking forward to the Father’s Day breakfast which will take place in Week 7 and we hope that all fathers, grandfather and significant male role models can join us in the morning for a bacon and egg roll. Following the breakfast, the P&F will be putting on a Father’s Day stall and children are invited to purchase a gift from the stall. We hope everyone can support this fundraiser. Look out for more information to come.

Once again we will be hosting a Colour Run this October which has proven to be such a fun day for the students. This is our major fundraiser and it would be fabulous if all families could support their students in gathering sponsorship. Furthermore, we will put the call out in coming weeks for any parents who may like to assist with set up, pack up or running a station on the day. Please keep an eye out for this.

We currently have $11,000 in profit and are hoping to spend some of this on school resources in the coming months.

Next upcoming P&F meeting is Tuesday 28th October.

Regards,
