Ebony House

It has been a big Term so far for Ebony House, with students being involved in many different activities and leading by example at and outside of school.

We had a great turnout for the Cross Country and Athletics Carnivals’ and managed to finish 3rd overall in both events. This caps off a successful sporting start to the year after finishing first in the Swimming Carnival and the increase in participation as well as many talented students leading the way has helped set Ebony House up for continued success throughout this year and beyond.

A special mention to Lisette Dyer and Eddie Muhlenberg who won their age group categories for the Athletics as well as Brandt Dyer who finished the 3km Cross Country in 9 minutes and 30 seconds.

Our schools’ Under 13 Boys 50m relay team had a successful trip to Melbourne for the State Swimming Finals as well with them finishing 3rd overall which is an amazing effort. Well done also to Kayla Ballard who won her category in the State Finals for Calisthenics as well externally to BHS.

Our school production of Matilda Jnr was a roaring success and for anyone lucky enough to see the show it was extremely professional and showcased the amazing talents the school has. Well done to Maggie O’Halloran and Grace Britnell who performed exceptionally in their roles during the play and also to Lisette Dyer and Willow Ganly who supported the actors by doing a fantastic job in the band.

After our Year 7 Camp towards the end of last Term we now have all our form captains selected. Congratulations to the following students:
