International Women's Day
The Gap State High School community came together for a memorable and inspiring International Women’s Day Breakfast, hosted by the TGSHS P&C. The morning celebrated women and girls while encouraging our community to reflect on how we can work together to create a more balanced and inclusive future.
The event saw several beautiful student and teacher musical performances throughout the morning. Guests were officially welcomed, including our Executive Leadership Team, P&C representatives, special guests, and Jonty Bush MP, Member for Cooper, with recognition that International Women’s Day is a conversation for everyone — including the male supporters who joined us.
We were very grateful for our Gold Sponsor, Carmen Briggs from Harcourts Property Centre, whose support helped make the event possible.
Guests enjoyed breakfast while being treated to a special keynote address from Kendall Gilding - a highlight of the event. Kendall inspired guests to continue working toward fairness, dignity and opportunity for all.
We extend our sincere thanks to our guest speakers, performers, sponsors and supporters, as well as the staff, students and volunteers who helped bring the event to life. Congratulations also to our lucky door prize winners.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the event such a positive and meaningful community gathering. We look forward to seeing you all at our next event.
