The Gap SHS P&C

President - Erin Williams

It's already Week 6! Hope everyone has some relaxing Easter holiday plans in the works.

I hope to see you all at our P&C Annual General Meeting next Monday the 9th of March at 7pm in the library. Please ensure you have renewed your membership for this year prior to coming to the meeting. We are looking for new faces for help with events, communication planning and just to have a say on the services we provide to the school.

By the time you have read this we will have hosted another International Women’s Day Breakfast in the JA Robertson Hall, with over 100 attendees. Our speaker, Kendell Gilding, is an Australian journalist and newsreader and has kindly shared her experiences telling stories from around the world, and how women are redefining themselves in leadership, media and public life. We have also had generous support from local businesses and our political representatives as well as sponsorship from Carmen Briggs at Harcourts Property Centre.

We have also hosted a very successful Business Breakfast Forum to Fuel the Future, by providing our students with opportunities to interact with local businesses. Our attendees discussed how we can all share our experiences from our careers and our work life journey with students to give them a better understanding of what lies ahead of them after school. If you would like to contribute to student career planning opportunities, please don’t hesitate to contact us at info@tgshspandc.org.au.
