Kingston Division Cross Country

The Kingston Division Cross Country Carnival was held in extremely challenging conditions yesterday, with wet weather and muddy tracks making for a tough day of running. Despite the difficult conditions, all students showed great determination and resilience throughout their races, representing our school proudly.

A special congratulations to Joaquin, who finished 1st in the 11-Year-Old Multi Class race, an outstanding achievement. Congratulations also to Xavier S for placing 8th and Jacob for placing 10th in the highly competitive 11-Year-Old Boys race.

We are thrilled that all three students have qualified to progress to the Southern Metropolitan Region Cross Country Carnival on June 17. We wish Joaquin, Xavier and Jacob all the very best and look forward to seeing them represent our school again at the next level.

SJV House Athletics

The SJV House Athletics Carnival will be held on Friday, June 19 at Dolomore Reserve. All students from Prep to Year 6 will be taking part in what is always a fantastic day of participation, teamwork and house spirit.

We are looking forward to seeing students getting involved in a range of running, jumping and throwing events, while proudly supporting their house teams throughout the day. The carnival is always a highlight on the school calendar and a wonderful opportunity for students to challenge themselves, encourage others and have fun.

We are also seeking parent helpers to assist throughout the day with individual events, timing, data entry and set up/pack up. If you are available to help, please contact Dominique Monotti on dominique.monotti@sjvparkdale.catholoc.edu.au . Families are encouraged to keep an eye on nForma for further information and event details in the lead up to the carnival.

Run Club

On Fridays, all grade 3-6 students are invited to join the Run Club. We meet at Walter Galt Reserve 8:15 AM, and students will be escorted to school once finished. It's been wonderful to see so many students get involved.
