Welcome back to our Year 8 2026 students, and a warm welcome to the students and families who are new to Heatherwood School in 2026. Our Junior section this year has three Year 7 classes and four Year 8 classes. We have had a great start to the school year with a focus on creating routines and developing classroom and school expectations. We’ve also been working on building relationships with peers and staff to help the transition process. I spoke to some of our new students to find out their thoughts on how the start of the year has been:

Heatherwood School is very good. I’ve made some really good friends - Beau
