From May to early July, there will be traffic changes around Pakenham that may impact your school community. Information and detour maps for these disruptions are enclosed and we encourage you to share these details through your newsletters, intranets, and other channels.

Henry Road closure

From 19 May to early-July, Henry Road will be closed between Heritage Boulevard and McGregor Road.

 

Detours will be in place and may add up to 5 minutes of travel time. If you’re travelling:

  • along the Princes Freeway to Henry Road, detour via Cardinia Road
  • along McGregor Road to Henry Road, detour via Livingstone Boulevard and Henry Lawson Drive
  • from Henry Road to Webster Way, detour via Henry Lawson Drive, Livingstone Boulevard, Park Boulevard and Honeyeater Way

 

Traffic changes at Healesville-Koo Wee Rup Road

From Thursday 16 May to late-October 2024 there will be long-term traffic changes at the northern freeway interchange on Healesville-Koo Wee Rup Road including:

  • No right turn onto Healesville-Koo Wee Rup Road from the Princes Freeway Gippsland-bound exit ramp
  • No right turn onto the Gippsland-bound freeway entry ramp from Healesville-Koo Wee Rup Road

 

If you’re travelling:

  • Gippsland-bound on the Princes Freeway and heading towards Koo Wee Rup, exit at Healesville-Koo Wee Rup Road and U-turn at the Bald Hill Road roundabout or exit McGregor Road and detour via Southeast Boulevard.
  • Towards Pakenham on Healesville-Koo Wee Rup Road to enter the Princes Freeway Gippsland-bound, either U-turn at the roundabout on Bald Hill Road or use Southeast Boulevard to access the newly opened Gippsland-bound freeway entry ramp at McGregor Road.

 

Please allow up to 15 minutes additional travel time.

 

Healesville-Koo Wee Rup Road closures

Between Tuesday 21 and Monday 27 May from 8am to 6pm each day, we’ll close Healesville-Koo Wee Rup Road in sections between Greenhills and Ballarto Road.
