Awards and Celebrations

This year, we have a range of reward and recognition systems in place to celebrate and acknowledge the fantastic things our students do each day.

Positive Points 

Students will continue to be  awarded positive points for showing positive learning behaviours  in their classrooms. When students receive these, they will generate a positive point compass chronicle via COMPASS.

Students receive these in the forms of:           

• Smilies (Prep - Year 2)
• Jibbetz (Year 3 - Year 6)

Nights Of Reading

We are tracking and rewarding students reading throughout the year through our classroom 'Nights of Reading' charts in our classrooms. Students will be celebrated when they meet special milestone in class, and recognised at whole school assemblies for those who meet bigger milestone (100 and 200 nights). Congratulations to all those students (and families) who have already started their reading routines at night!

Social Change Makers

With the introduction of our new school values, we are encouraging students to actively recognise when their peers demonstrate these values by awarding them a Social Change Card. This initiative empowers students to notice and celebrate positive behaviours in one another, helping to build a strong and supportive school culture.

Congratulations to the below Social Change Makers who are now in our special Golden Challice draw to sit on our special seats at the next assembly.

We are Respectful........

At the end of each term, classroom teachers (along with specialist teachers) will give a special award to ONE student each class who has consistently demonstrated ALL 4 of our school values.
