CBCA SHORLIST WINNERS

The CBCA (Children's Book Council of Australia) Book of the Year Awards winners were announced today, Friday, August 15, 2025, at 12:00 PM (noon) AEST. This announcement  included both the winners and the honor books. The announcement coincides with the start of Children's Book Week.

GOULBURN VALLEY WATER WEEK COMPETITION

GVW celebrate National Water Week during October each year with a variety of free school and community events and activities across the region.

The theme for 2025 is Don't Flush It and the children have been learning about what you shouldn't and should flush down the toilet to avoid blockages and costly repairs. They have learnt that you should only flush the 3 Ps - pee, poo and (loo) paper and were given the task of designing a wrap for a toilet roll conveying this important message.

A representative from GVW will visit our school between 18th August and the 12th September to judge our students creations and select a winning entry from P/1/2, 3/4 and 5/6. Good luck to our finalists.
