Year 3 Gardening

This term the Year 3 students  did gardening. It was really fun collecting compost, shredding paper, planting beetroot,  weeding, watering the garden and looking after our worm farm. We had fun with our friends and we had a good time making the announcement to the school about putting your compost bin out for collection. One of our gardening sessions was held in the classroom due to bad weather but we still had fun.

Last Wednesday the Year 3 students held a market stall selling our school grown produce. They sold parsley, warrigal greens, mixed lettuce, silverbeet, rosemary and lemons and made $70.
