Eureka Division Cross Country
Our students represented the school wonderfully at the Eureka Division Cross Country event at Federation University on Monday. Students and spectators enjoyed amazing sunny weather while the runners tackled a very challenging course. The 1km loop certainly tested everyone’s determination, especially with the tough hill waiting at the end of each lap!
All 36 students should be extremely proud of their efforts, resilience and sportsmanship throughout the day. It was fantastic to see students encouraging one another, giving their best effort and never giving up, even when the course became difficult.
A special congratulations goes to our three students who have successfully progressed through to the Regional Cross Country Competition in Warrnambool in a couple of weeks. We wish Seth C who finished 4th, Isabelle C, 4th and Mia B, 7th all the very best as they continue to represent our school at the next level.
Thank you to all the parents and families for your ongoing support and encouragement on the day. A big thank you also to Mr Bell, Alyson and Molly for their assistance and support in helping make the event such a success.
