Foundation/ Year One News 

This week the Year 1 students went on an excursion to The Art Gallery of Ballarat. Dr Deanne Gilson, a proud Wadawurrung woman supported the students through a creative workshop. The students learned about seasonal change on Country, Buniya (Eel) season and the significance of Buniya for Wadawurrung people. We created a collaborative artwork where each student painted and drew part of an eel catcher and then created their own eels. Below is a sneak peak of some of the artwork - the full creation will be in this year's Art Show!
