Kinder News - Bunjil Group

For the past two weeks, the children have had a wonderful time with learning, friendship, creativity, and discovery. During Group Time, the children began exploring the concept of time. They drew different types of clocks, including analogue wall clocks, digital alarm clocks, and grandfather clocks. The children were able to identify many features such as numbers and hands, and showed a growing understanding that clocks are used to tell the time. We will continue exploring this topic over the coming weeks.
Another exciting discovery involved exploring knobbly potato parts. The children showed great curiosity as they used their senses of smell, touch, and sight to guess what they were. Some described the smell as “like boots” and thought they looked like acorns—such creative thinking!
Miners Rest Fire Station Excursion
On Friday, Bunjil Group will be going on an excursion to the Miners Rest Fire Station. A social story was posted on Seesaw to share with your child to help them prepare for the excursion. We will have so much fun at the Miners Rest Fire Station!
Thank you for your support,
