Student Leaders Driving the 2026 Regional Student Voice Conference

Following the outstanding success of last year's Regional Student Voice Conference (RSVC), we are thrilled to once again be involved in this incredible opportunity for students in 2026.

This year's conference is even more exciting, as it will be entirely planned, organised and facilitated by students. On 15th July, Miranda Linton (10P), Sarthak Negi (10P) & Eva Hammond (9B) represented Belmont High School at the RSVC Planning Day. Working alongside student leaders from across the region, they collaborated, brainstormed and developed ideas for what promises to be an inspiring and meaningful event later in the term.

It was fantastic to see the passion, creativity and leadership displayed by our students throughout the day. What an incredible brains trust we have! Their commitment to ensuring young people's voices are heard was evident in every discussion and decision.

The 2026 Regional Student Voice Conference will be held on Thursday 17th September at the Geelong Tech School. A select group of approximately 15 BHS Student Leaders will attend as delegates, joining students from across the region to explore the issues that matter most to young people in our community. The conference aims to empower students to share their ideas, influence positive change and strengthen student voice across our schools.

A special thank you to our generous sponsors who have already come on board to support this student-led initiative:

  • oeDigital

  • Winc

  • Bakers Delight

  • Geelong Connected Communities

  • Caravans R Us

  • Geelong Tech School

Without your generosity, the planning day and the forthcoming event simply would not be possible.

Can You Help?

We are currently seeking additional sponsors for the main conference in September. If you are part of community group, business, organisation, or have a connection with a business that may be interested in supporting this fantastic student-led event, we would love to hear from you.

No contribution is too big or too small and every donation will help to create an unforgettable experience for the young leaders of our region.

If you would like to get involved or discuss sponsorship opportunities, please contact Matt Hosking via the General Office.
