Deakin Young Leader Award

If you’re a Year 11 student who demonstrates leadership, initiative and a commitment to positive change through contribution to school, community and academic life, and demonstrate strong academic capability, the Deakin Young Leader Award is for you.

This prestigious award gives you a chance to be recognised for your achievements and gain a unique edge for your future opportunities. Recipients of the award receive a $5,000 scholarship to Deakin University to begin study in 2028.

Applications open on Monday 3 August, and close on Friday 28 August. You can apply directly via the website, deakin.edu.au/young-leader-award.  Winners will be announced on 17 September.
