Crazy Neon Disco tickets now available! 

Get ready to party in your brightest colours at the CPS Crazy Neon Disco!  Come dance, and glow the night away with all your friends! 

📅 Date: Saturday18th July 2026 

📍 Place: ‘Hall of Champions’ (CPS school hall/gym)

🎉 Theme: Crazy Neon 

💰 Cost: $10 per student. Tickets available via Qkr! (on sale until Tuesday 14th July)

🎁PLUS — each ticket includes one entry into the raffle! 

🍬Each child will receive a sweet treat at the end (please advise of any food allergies when completing the form with your ticket purchase via Qkr)

🕓 Session Times:

• Session 1: Prep – Grade 2 → 4:30 pm – 6:00 pm (+ G6 Buddies)
• Session 2: Grade 3 – Grade 6 → 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm
• Please be on time for pick-up 
• All students must be signed in and out by a parent or carer.

Disco raffle 

To make the evening more exciting, we will have a raffle at the end of each session filled with glowing surprises!  You can increase your chances by purchasing additional tickets via Qkr!

• 1 ticket = $2
• 3 tickets = $5
• 7 tickets = $10

CPS 2026 Pie Drive 

The PFA is once again organising a winter pie drive fundraiser through Tony’s Pies of Essendon - perfect easy family meals for these cold winter nights! A range of freshly baked goods are available including pies, sausage rolls, quiches and pasties.

Orders will close on Monday 20th July and will be delivered to the school on Wednesday 22nd July.  They will be delivered fresh so you can simply eat them straight away or freeze for quick easy dinners later on.

Save the Date! Parent Trivia Night Saturday 15th August 

Time to get a babysitter sorted! Our annual CPS Parent's Trivia Night is happening on Saturday 15th August 2026. 

When: Saturday 15th August 2026

Time: 7pm for a 7:30pm start  

Where: Murrumbeena Park Bowls Club, 26 - 28 Gerald Street, Murrumbeena

Dress/Theme: Back to the 2000s! 

Tickets will go on sale via Qkr early next term but for now, mark your calendars! 

Can you donate a raffle prize? 

The PFA is seeking raffle prize and silent auction donations. If anyone has anything they can donate, please email jebridger@gmail.com   

Book Club orders sent home this week

Term 2 Scholastic Book Club orders are being sent home with students this week. It was a bumper order, so well done CPS - plenty of Scholastic credits coming back our way to help purchase new books!

Thank you to all the CPS families who ordered, and to those parent volunteers who helped pack all the orders on Tuesday morning.

Beanies now purchased via school office 

CPS beanies are no longer available for order and delivery via Qkr. During Terms 3 and 4, beanies will be available for purchase from the school office only. Price remains $15.
