Prep Enrolments for 2027

Do you have a child ready to begin their school journey in 2027? We are now accepting enrolment applications for next year's Prep students. Families interested in joining our school community are encouraged to submit their enrolment application by Friday 31 July 2026. Enrolments can be completed online, and assistance is available through our school office if required. There is still opportunities where families can explore our facilities, meet members of our staff, and gain an insight into the learning opportunities available at our school. To reserve a place on a school tour or to discuss the enrolment process, please contact our school office on 9723 4182.

We are excited to meet our future Prep students and welcome new families to our school community.

Parent-Teacher Interviews and Reports

Semester 1 reports have now been shared with families through Compass, providing an opportunity to celebrate student achievements and acknowledge the learning and growth that has taken place throughout the semester.

This week, we have also been holding Parent-Teacher Interviews. Thank you to all parents and carers who took the time to meet with teachers and discuss their child's progress. These conversations are always valuable and help strengthen the partnership between home and school.

I would also like to thank our teachers for the time and effort they have put into preparing reports and meeting with families. Reporting and interviews come at the end of a busy term, and I appreciate the care and professionalism our staff bring to ensuring families are informed and supported.

Thank you to our families and staff for working together to support the learning and wellbeing of our students.

End of Term 2

Thank you to our students, families, and staff for another successful term. Your support, effort, and involvement have contributed to a positive and productive Term 2. We wish everyone a safe holiday break and look forward to seeing students return for the beginning of Term 3.

We are expecting to receive our physical school photos at the beginning of Term 3. Unfortunately, there has been a delay in delivery that is beyond our control.

As soon as the photos arrive, they will be sent home with students as quickly as possible.

We apologise for the delay and appreciate your patience and understanding.

Environmental News

We have some very exciting news. Yarra Road Primary School has been successful in obtaining a $1,700 grant under the 'Growing Together Small Grants' for school programs through EACH.

The grant will be used to develop a sensory garden/space within the veggie patch area for students. The project will commence in early July, and will involve students from across the school, as well as participants who attend our lunchtime Environmental Club. Stay tuned for more information next term and for opportunities to help and assist.
