Big Science Competition 2025
This year, 16 Year 9 students participated in the Australian Science Innovations Big Science Competition.
This 50-minute online competition challenged students with a mix of science knowledge, critical thinking, and problem-solving questions. Set in real-life, contemporary contexts, the questions were designed to be both engaging and different from what students typically encounter in the classroom.
Thank you and congratulations to all our students who took part – it’s a fantastic achievement to step into a new and challenging environment, and we applaud your courage and curiosity. Well done!
Special congratulations to the following students who achieved a Distinction result, placing them in the top 15% of all participants across the country:
- Ridith B
- Zahira F
- Eliot F
- Jayden J
- Reyan S
- Cody T
Certificates for all students will be distributed via their tutorial teachers.
We look forward to seeing even more students rise to the challenge next year!
