Parent Representatives and Parents and Friends Association Meeting
On Friday 27th March, we hosted our first Parent Representatives and P&F meeting in the staffroom. It was a wonderful opportunity for our parent representatives and other interested parents to meet and connect. As this is a new role, the meeting also provided a chance to share our newly developed handbook, clarify roles and expectations, and reinforce the support that staff at Donvale Primary School will provide.
Each year level has two parent representatives, with the exception of Prep. Please keep an eye out for a WhatsApp invitation, which has been sent, to connect with the parent representatives in your child/ren’s year level.
Mothers' Day Stall - Thursday 7th May
The Mothers' Day stall is run each year as a way to help celebrate the special women in our students' lives and also raise money for the school.
If you could lend a hand to
- order supplies for the stall
- bundle up items to sell
- price items to sell
- help set up and pack up the space
- help students buy an appropriate gift
that would be greatly appreciated. Please keep an eye out on Compass to see when you can sign up.
Mothers' Day Morning- Friday 8th May
We are excited to be hosting a special morning for our mums (& kids until school starts) to coincide with Mother's Day.
When: Friday 8th May from 8.30-10am.
Cost: $10 for coffee, tea or hot chocolate with a sweet treat & small gift (this deal is for the adults only). There will be the option to buy a juice box for your child on the day.
In order to make sure the morning runs smoothly, we'd like to know approximately how many we are expecting and what time suits you best.
