District Tennis - Monday 30th March 2026
Tracy, Hugo and Julian from Grade 6 headed to Doncaster Tennis Club on Monday to compete in the District Tennis Tournament. They all did a great job, represented our school wonderfully and, most importantly, had fun. Well done guys!
Regional Swimming - Tuesday 31st March 2026
Congratulations Oliver Mackintosh in (firstly) qualifying for Regional Swimming in the 50m Freestyle and (secondly) for his amazing 37 second effort down the pool at Aquanation. Looking forward to seeing what comes about in 2027 for him!
Whole School Cross Country - Tuesday 31st March 2026
Donvale Primary School students proudly and energetically participated in our Whole School Cross Country, on Tuesday 31st March. Students completed one, two or three (950m) laps of the Donvale Primary School course. Autumn put on a stunning day for our students, along with the glowing sea of school house colours, the atmosphere was buzzing all morning.
Special mentions need to go to the 60 students who qualified for District Cross Country, which will be held at Ruffy Lake in Term 2 on Friday 22nd May. However, some other points to note where the Banksia House Champions for the event. Well done Banksia!
Mr Rodger and Mrs Wilkinson are incredibly proud of all the students, and we are looking forward to more sporting events as 2026 continues.
Term 2
We have some exciting activities and opportunities lined up for the Donvale Students in Term 2 - including basketball clinics, run club and Mrs Wilkinson's childhood favourite - participating in the Jump Rope for Heart program.
Mrs Wilkinson has a Term 2 challenge for the Donvale students ~ any student who can complete 10 Double Unders in a row, by the time the five week Jump Rope competition ends - she'll personally add $50 into the Donvale Jump Rope Fundraising page. More information about this to come in next term's newsletter and through Compass Posts.
