Hi, I’m Leah Martini and this year is my third year on the School Council, second as President.

I have two kids at DPS, Campbell in 3/4C and Samantha in 5/6A. My husband Chris and I have our own business, I’m a Photographer and he is a Media Producer. We largely work from home so we are lucky to often have the flexibility to help out at things like canteen, BBQ’s and athletic carnivals. I’m normally on the senior side for drop off/pick up so please come say hi anytime and have a chat.

Hi! I'm Sam and excited to continue the DPS School Council for 2026. We are looking forward to connecting with as many parents and families at DPS to work together and continuously improve our lovely school!

Julianne and I have two daughters, Alannah in Grade 2 and Adelene in 4 yrd old Kindergarten. I work in Education Management and Julianne works in Taxation and Finance. We love our Donvale area and living here since 2010.

We look forward to meeting as many parents as we can throughout this year.

I’m thrilled to be on the Donvale Primary School Council for the third time this year. Over the past five years, I’ve been an active part of the school community through the Parents Association, and my husband Emmanuel and I have loved volunteering wherever we can.

We are proud parents of Emily in Grade 2 and Harvey in Grade 6. As a family, we feel deeply connected to the vibrant and welcoming spirit that makes Donvale such a special place.

I’m looking forward to gaining a deeper understanding of how the school operates and contributing meaningfully to its ongoing development.

Being involved at Donvale has not only strengthened our sense of community but also helped us build wonderful friendships. We are passionate about giving back to a school we truly love and supporting the best possible environment for all our children to thrive.

Hello DPS community, I’m Sarah and this is my second year on school council.

My superstar daughter, Amaya, has just started her schooling career with Miss Thomas in Prep A. She loves going to school and learning new things. Her beautiful brother, Xander, is currently taking a break from DPS to attend an independent school suited to his learning needs. He misses his friends at DPS and loved attending the welcome back BBQ held earlier in the year.

I am an active member of the school community, volunteering where I can as parent class rep (twice!), on school excursions and at special school events.

Being on the school council is a great way to learn more about DPS, to connect with teachers and families, and to make a positive contribution to the school.

I’m Michael Proitsis and this year my son Leo is in 3/4B. I’ve been around the school for quite a few years now after Oliver going through and finishing grade 6. I enjoy helping out with school activities when I can and also supporting with the boys interests outside of school including soccer and scouts.

I work as a civil engineer and project manager in the water industry and are very fortunate to have found a role that provides a great balance between interesting work and flexibility.

I’m looking forward to supporting our great school in my first year on school council. If you see me around at drop off or pick up I’m always happy to have a chat.

My name is Marthe Fitzgerald, and this is my first year on the DPS School Council. I have two kids, Isla (Prep) and Leon (Grade 1), so we are very much in the early stages of their schooling years. Starting school has also been a bit of a learning curve for me, as I went to school in Norway (I moved to Australia for university), and the system here is a little different from what I’m used to.

Work-wise, I run an online operations and graphic design business, which means I’m lucky to work from home and be around the school and help out where I can. You’ll often see me on the junior side or on the playground with the kids (usually near the monkey bars - they’re obsessed!). My husband, Christian, and I really love the strong sense of community and connection at DPS, and I’m looking forward to supporting that through my involvement in the School Council.

Hi, I’m Anna and this is my first year involved in the School Council.

My two kids are Gracie in grade 5 and Ellie in grade 3. I work as a social worker and dabble in a bit of art on the side. My husband Yaz works in trade however his passion is sport.

Our family have all really loved the Donvale PS community and are grateful for how much the girls have embraced school life. We would like to contribute and show our appreciation by being involved in the school council.
