Year 1/2 News

Literacy

In Literacy this term, we have been focusing on making connections between what we read and our own experiences, as well as identifying character traits. Students have been learning to use clues from the text to describe characters and explain their thinking.

Maths

We have started Maths this term by revisiting our understanding of place value and addition. Students have been practising reading and writing numbers, exploring the value of different digits and using a range of strategies to add numbers together.

We’ve been so impressed with the enthusiasm, effort and positive attitudes our Grade 1/2 students have brought into Term 4!
