School Wide Positive Behaviour Support

SWPBS aligns with school values by supporting staff to explicitly teach and reinforce expected behaviours. At Hamlyn Views School our school values are Learning, Safety and Respect. 

Some of the behaviours students are supported to learn for each of our values are

Being a Learner:

• Trying new things
• Persisting with difficult tasks
• Following schedules 
• Working together 

Being Safe:

• Staying with the group
• Asking for help
• Giving people space 
• Asking for a break

Showing Respect:

• Following instructions
• Taking turns 
• Sharing
• Helping others

Student earn Monty tokens throughout the day when they show an expected behaviour and certificates students receive at assemblies are also linked to our school values.
