Congratulations to Milla Lowe, Ethan Crisp, Blake Distefano, Ted Vesey, and Charlie Bayliss on their selection into the prestigious Basketball NSW Talented Athletes Program (TAP).
These students will travel to Penrith Valley Sports Stadium for a week of high-performance training, including on-court development, sports science testing, and educational seminars. TAP recognises the top 25 male and female athletes from across regional and metropolitan NSW, a huge effort. Well done!
A huge congratulations to our College Captain, Claudia Hocking, who has been named one of the five finalists for the NBL1 East Youth Player of the Year award.
This award recognises the top athletes under the age of 23 competing in Australia’s premier basketball league. Claudia’s nomination places her alongside players currently involved in national teams, an incredible achievement. We wish her the best of luck as she heads into the NBL1 East Preliminary Final this Saturday night.
Congratulations to the U16 Trinity Nets for reaching the Grand Final of their club competition last term. Although they fell short against a strong Lavington Panthers side, making the final is a fantastic accomplishment and a testament to their hard work throughout the season. Great job, team!
On Thursday 31 July, under sunny skies at the Les O'Brien Athletics Precinct, 80 of our senior school students proudly represented Trinity in the BISSA Athletics Carnival.
Competing against Catholic and Independent schools from across the region, including as far as Moama in the east and Griffith in the north, our students performed brilliantly across the day.
A special congratulations to Ewan Bredenkamp and Rylan Frazer, who were both named Runner-Up Age Champions for their outstanding performances.
We’re also proud to announce that 45 students have been selected to advance to the NSW CIS Carnival, where they will represent RAS. These students and their families will be notified shortly.
Finally, a massive achievement by our U16 boys’ 4x100m relay team; Tom Wells, Seth Morris, Ewan Bredenkamp, and anchor Leroy Ogesare, who broke the BISSA record with a time of 49.03 seconds. A fantastic effort that earns them a well-deserved place in the record books!
This week we had 24 students representing Trinity at the 2025 Regional Interschools Snowsport Championships at Falls Creek.
A big congratulations to all those who competed:
Thanks to Mr Monaghan and Mrs Culligan for supporting everyone!
