Author Visit - Peter Klein
Local author and educator Peter Klein - better known as Captain Pete - recently visited our Year 5 students to bring his book MUDPOO and the Secret of the Rainforest to life.
In an engaging, interactive production, students became characters from the story, joining in with singing, dancing, and playing instruments. The book explores important environmental topics, including old-growth rainforest protection, palm oil production, and even burping cows! Through this lively experience, Captain Pete empowered students to become changemakers by raising awareness and offering practical strategies to help protect the environment.
A big thank you to Captain Pete for visiting Trinity and inspiring our students with his message and creativity.
MS Readathon
This August we are joining in the fun of the MS Readathon.
The MS Readathon has been inspiring kids to read for more than 47 years and this year it will be more fun than ever! We’re reading as many books as we can up until the end of August to raise funds for families living with multiple sclerosis and neurological conditions.
Registration is FREE and logging books is easy through the online dashboard. Readers can earn badges, review books, share their progress and win prizes along the way.
