We aim to work together with the school community to ensure that the school is a harmonious and worthwhile place to be, where individual rights are respected, and students are supported and encouraged to strive for excellence. 

The Student Engagement and Inclusion Policy is underpinned by the school’s Purpose Statement: At Eltham High School each person feels safe to be themselves; and each person is challenged to think critically, to work in teams, to show leadership, and achieve success along many pathways. 

Camps, Tours and Excursions

Camps, excursions, tours, and incursions are an integral part of the school curriculum as they enable students to explore, extend and enrich their learning and their social skills development in a non-school setting. 

Our Camps, Tours and Excursions policy is intended to complement the Department’s policy and guidelines on excursions, camps and adventure activities which all Victorian government schools are required to follow. Eltham High School will follow both this policy, as well as the Department’s policy and guidelines when planning for and conducting these activities.
