Athletics Carnival

On Thursday, 4th April, the second last day of Term One, our school community came together for the Annual Athletics Carnival, a highlight on our school calendar. The event was filled with energy, enthusiasm and a strong sense of house spirit, as students from all year levels took to the track and field to showcase their athletic talents and cheer on their peers.
Points were awarded not only to students who placed in their events, but also for those who showed great team spirit. Extra points were given to students who enthusiastically cheered on their House and demonstrated a sense of community, such as picking up rubbish or helping out in other ways. This added a wonderful layer of support and camaraderie throughout the day, highlighting the importance of teamwork and school pride.
We are thrilled to announce that Freeman House took out the top spot this year, finishing with an impressive total of 1,272 points. Congratulations to all Freeman House students and staff for their outstanding effort and teamwork!
A huge thank you goes to all students for their participation, encouragement and sportsmanship throughout the day. Whether competing, cheering, or helping with events, every contribution made the carnival a fun and memorable occasion. We also thank our dedicated staff, especially Ms Morrow, for organising and running the day so smoothly.
Below you will find a selection of photographs captured by our talented student photographers – thank you for beautifully documenting the spirit of the day!
