Further improvement of our College Building and Grounds

As mentioned in our Principal’s message, during the holiday period we continued to further improve our building and grounds. One highlight was the completion of an exceptional mural in our gymnasium by our talented Indigenous Artist-in-Residence, Sam Richards. Sam incorporated traditional symbols to tell the stories of the Indigenous athletes who inspire our four Houses: tennis champion Ash Barty (Red), iconic runner Cathy Freeman (Yellow), prominent footballer Eddie Betts (Blue), and renowned basketballer Patty Mills (Green).

This week, students in our Horticulture program have been designing and planting a beautiful new landscape featuring native flowers and plants outside the library. This addition will continue the flow of stunning native landscaping from the library area all the way along towards our Food Technology classrooms.
