ENGINEERING STUDIES

Engineering Studies: A Year of Remarkable Achievements

Engineering Studies continues to thrive, showcasing the dedication and hard work of its students. Rohit Prakash, the teacher of Engineering Studies, expressed immense pride in his students, who are diligently working towards success in this challenging course. In 2023, two students achieved Band 6 in Engineering Studies, and similar stellar results are anticipated this year.

This course invites students to tackle unique challenges, involving complex computations of forces and stresses unlike any other experiences in their educational journey. The goal is to nurture future engineers whose structures will stand tall and endure.

Between 2023 and 2024, six students have secured early entry into prestigious engineering programs at various universities, with 50% of them also receiving unconditional monetary scholarships ranging from $1,000 to $15,000.

Noteworthy achievements include:

Kalib McDonald and Philip Bosanac

  • Kaileb McDonald, who has been awarded the Dean’s Engineering Scholarship valued at $15,000 per annum to pursue a Bachelor of Engineering at UNSW.
  • Philip Bosanac, who has secured an unconditional early entry to UNSW with an $11,000 scholarship for Mechanical Engineering.
  • Walid Jeda, who has received a conditional scholarship to Macquarie University for Mechatronics and Aerospace Engineering.

Our students are poised to make significant contributions to the field of engineering. We would like to welcome our female students to join the Engineering Studies class in 2025.

Congratulations to all the 2024 graduates, and best wishes for your future endeavours.
