Your Sanctuary for HSC Success - Visit the Library

As we approach the HSC period, it’s important to have the right environment at home and school to maximise your study potential. The library and the learning hub are great places at school for focused and effective study sessions.

  • Quiet and Calm Atmosphere: The library offers a serene and quiet environment, essential for concentration and you can study without distractions.
  • Resources at Your Fingertips: Great resources, from textbooks and reference materials to study guides and past papers.
  • Dedicated Study Spaces: Areas designed to meet your needs. See Sally to request a study room or choose a comfortable chair to create your ideal study zone.
  • Supportive Staff: Staff are available to assist you with finding resources or offering advice on study strategies.

The library is open during extended hours leading up to the HSC through the ACE program after school on Fridays to accommodate your study schedule. Make the most of this space to enhance your preparation and achieve your academic goals.

You may also study in the learning hub which provides a versatile and collaborative space that enhances both individual and group study experiences.

  • Social Interaction & Collaboration: The learning hub fosters a collaborative atmosphere where students can engage in group discussions, share ideas, and work together on projects.
  • Access to Food and Drinks: Having access to snacks and beverages can help maintain focus and stamina during study sessions.
  • Larger Group Discussions: The hub is ideal for brainstorming sessions, workshops, and collaborative projects.
  • Relaxing and Comfortable Environment: The hub is designed with comfortable seating, and this relaxed environment helps reduce stress and creates a great study space.

Celebrating Our High Achievers: Hackathon Champions and Early University Entrants

We are thrilled to share some exciting achievements by our students that showcase their exceptional talent and dedication. We look forwarding to celebrating more student early entries as the offers arrive.

Hackathon Victory

Congratulations to our outstanding students who recently participated in the Hackathon competition at the Centre of Excellence in Agriculture Education. Their innovative project on creating a campaign to educate the public about the dangers of driving in floodwaters earned them first place! This achievement not only highlights their STEM skills but also their commitment to making a positive impact on the community. Their project is a testament to their ability to apply their knowledge to real-world problems and contribute meaningfully to societal issues.

Early University Entry Success

We also extend our congratulations to our high potential Year 12 students who have secured early entry into universities. This early acceptance is a fantastic achievement and reflects their hard work, dedication, and academic excellence. We are incredibly proud of their accomplishments. As we celebrate their achievements, we encourage all students to continue working hard towards their goals and taking full advantage of the opportunities available to them.

As we all prepare for the HSC remember that our library and school community are here to support you every step of the way. Keep pushing forward, and let’s finish this year strong.
