Ann-Maree Ager - Year 11 Deputy
Dear Students, Staff, and Families,
As we approach the end of another term, I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate the newly elected members of our Student Representative Council (SRC). Your enthusiasm and commitment to representing the student body is inspiring, and I have no doubt that you will bring fresh ideas and positive change to our college community. We look forward to seeing the impact of your leadership in the months ahead.
For all our students, particularly Year 11 and 12, the upcoming exams are just around the corner. I want to wish each of you the very best of luck as you prepare and study for these important assessments. Remember, this is a time to focus on doing your personal best. If you require any support, please don’t hesitate to reach out to your teachers, family or peers.
Year 11 will have a compulsory Life Ready Day and My HSC Conference on Tuesday the 16th October. This is a mandatory and important day for all students as we will be going over the requirement for HSC and issuing the new assessment booklet. there have been changed made by NESA and we have anew policy for the use of Generative AI software in assessment. I parent zoom meeting will also be held around this time to help parents keep abreast of the changes. We will email you with the details early term 4.
Please note that your current timetable will continue for the first three weeks of next term. After this period, a new timetable will be published to reflect your progression into the HSC year. We understand this transition can be both exciting and challenging, so we encourage you to use this time to set strong goals for the year ahead.
I am also excited to announce that the Year 11 Presentation Assembly will be held on Thursday of Week 8, on the morning of the 5th of December. More information about this important event will be shared early next term, but please mark it in your calendars, as it will be a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the achievements of our students.
