ASX SCHOOLS SHAREMARKET GAME SUCCESS!

MS MONIQUE WATT - HUMANITIES CURRICULUM LEADER

Over the past several weeks, a number of our students participated in the exciting ASX Schools Sharemarket Game, where they took on the challenge of managing a virtual $50,000 investment portfolio on the Australian Stock Exchange.

This engaging educational game gave students a real-world glimpse into the sharemarket, encouraging them to research, plan, and take calculated risks—just like real investors!

We are incredibly proud to share that Destiny Adams not only topped our school leaderboard but also achieved remarkable national and state results, finishing 28th in Australia and an impressive 8th in Victoria with a portfolio value of $64,369.99!

Destiny Adams – $64,369.99 (28th nationally, 8th in Victoria)

Knox Toomey – $56,128.52

Harry McCreesh – $55,638.10

To recognise their achievement and support their financial futures, the school is awarding prize money to help them kickstart their real-life investing journeys

Destiny will receive $150

Knox will receive $100, and

Harry will receive $50.

Congratulations to all students who participated and especially to our top three investors! Your effort, strategic thinking, and financial acumen are truly commendable.

We’re excited to announce that the next ASX Sharemarket Game challenge will run again next semester—and we encourage all interested students to get involved and build their financial literacy skills in a fun and competitive way!
