Career Goal: Events/Sport Management Industry​

Ashlyn has successfully completed Cert III in Events whilst completing the VCE Vocational Major. ​

Ashlyn has enjoyed experiencing the world of work through SWL placements and has gained valuable experience in the events industry, whilst being able to connect learning with work. 

She is currently completing a SWL placement with the Department of Education within their Events Team. She’s had great insight into  organisational structures within a dynamic team and the complexities of large-scale event management. Ashlyn was a contributor for  the Trade and Tech Fit Expo held at the MECC in May, where she was introduced to the Deputy Premier and Minister for Education, Ben Carroll, and was able to discuss her industry experience and career goals.​

Ashlyn’s organisational skills have been put to good use through her contribution to the Year 11 and 12 Formals and class-room activities.​
