News from School Council

The Council meeting in May included discussion on the following:

• Focus for the term is on collaborative practices, strategies to improve writing skills and embed numeracy improvement initiatives
• The success of the School's Open Afternoon and a thank you to students for their support on the day
• The school's high relative growth results for 2023 NAPLAN
• Programs and initiatives in support of engagement, wellbeing and respectful relationships
• The School's 95th anniversary in 2025 and possible ways to celebrate the milestone.
