Year 10 update

Three students have been acknowledged for their ongoing contributions to the Box Hill High School community by the Forest Hill Rotary Club. These students have proven to be positive role models among their peers and have shown sustained genuine effort in their respective studies and areas of interest. A huge congratulations to:
We have had a range of teachers share their knowledge and expertise to better prepare our Year 10 students for their first round of exams. Some of the topics covered include:
Middle School have been hosting house hot chocolates and students have been encouraged to come along and meet their fellow house mates at recess to enjoy a free hot chocolate!
We are trying to build some more in-house connections among our students and are providing them with more opportunities to hang out with their house friends, or to make some new ones. House points have been awarded to students who brought their own mug, hoping to encourage students to play their part in minimising waste.
Our Year 10 leaders worked together to plan a homegroup session with a Life Skills focus. They liked the idea of centring the activity around communication and teamwork, so they organised a game called ‘Froggy Jump’. The game required students to silently work together to uncover the correct pathway across the pond, jumping from one lily pad to the next until they successfully made it to the other side.
